HOW WE PROTECT AND RESTORE NATURE 🌿

We use eco-conscious arboriculture methods that promote biodiversity and long-term ecosystem health, such as:

🌳 Retaining trees as snags
Snags—standing dead or dying trees—provide vital homes for birds, mammals, and insects. Where safe and appropriate, we retain suitable dead or declining trees as habitat features, helping provide valuable shelter and nesting opportunities for local wildlife.

🕊 Creating artificial hollows
Where appropriate, we can create artificial hollows in suitable dead or declining trees, offering safe nesting sites and shelter for native species.

🍂 Utilising fallen trees for habitat piles
Fallen branches and logs are repurposed into habitat piles, providing shelter for small animals and returning organic matter to the soil through natural decomposition.

By combining expert tree care with a deep respect for the environment, DT ArborTrees works to protect your property and the wildlife that calls it home.

Let’s grow a greener future together. 🌱

CARING FOR TREES, WILDLIFE, AND OUR PLANET 🌿

At DT ArborTrees, we believe tree removal should always be a last resort. Whenever possible, we look for ways to protect and enhance local wildlife habitats—because healthy trees mean a healthy planet.

Each year, we proudly celebrate Earth Day, a global reminder to take action in protecting our environment. We’re not just talking about it—we’re putting it into practice. Through our partnership with the Sunshine Coast Sustainability Programme – Reforest, we’re helping to plant new trees in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, creating thriving ecosystems that benefit our local community and the environment.

Happy Earth Day, Sunshine coast, arborist
